Another awTags feature is pinging technorati with tags (or something like that). From my statcounter logs I see I am already getting more traffic from there.

I have ping enabled and I run cron once an hour.
The technorati tags are working for me. I wrote an article yesterday tagged with 'subversion' and if I look at the technorai tag list for 'subversion' today my article is there.
