Maezyn

Maezyn went out to tame a plague swine for some next rank gore and charge and somehow ended up in Winterspring taming Rak'shiri:

Maez and Blue

Maez and Blue

Fate drew me to Winterspring as I fancied taming a good looking cat and Rak'shiri happened to be there. I didn't really want to tame a level 57 and have to level it up to 60 but he was so good looking that I couldn't just kill him.

Back to questing in Hellfire and by the time Maezyn was half way to level 61 Blue, as I renamed him, had dinged 60! He was on the olf Azeroth experience quotas and not Maez' hellfire quotas so it wasn't so bad.

He came with Dash 3 and I had to tame a Winterspring Owl to get claw and he still doesn't have bite but he looks good.

Hi Peter,

Nice looking cat. I tamed a new ravager the other day. There are some interesting looking green lvl 70's in the hills between terrok and hellfire. Speaking of interesting looking pets I also noticed that there are some new black/white cats in the hills between Skettis and Shadowmoon. I have not seen any about but they are also tameable.

Just wish Blizzard would give us more pet slots. lol!

Still it is a pain to level and train them up. I actually took my new ravager to Kara for exp. Although he is lvl 70 he is only just become "unruly" seems to take a long time to get the loyalty level up to get the training points.

Cheers

Peter

Sounds like the new Razorthorn Ravager from patch 2.4. I had a ravager for a bit with Maevyn, it's an ok pet but so creepy.

I remember the stripey cats, I thought they looked good and Maevyn would have had one if she didn't have Tiddles (ghost sabre that's been stuck at level 69 for months).

Maezyn went to Eastern Plaguelands and tamed a plague swine for the ultimate rank of charge (also got a high gore but that is available from ravagers too).

I prefer the look of the cat but I love the Boar's charge ability so much. Dash (cat or ravager) doesn't compare in terms of being able to pull something and choose exactly where you want the pet to engage the monster. The only thing better is the Warp Stalker: Maevyn tamed blink in the hills of Skettis and he is the reason Tiddles was left at 69.

One other thing about warp stalkers is that next to a dwarf hunter they seem huge.
