Water Softener

Got new water softener fitted. Water still looks milky but my skin feels oh so silky smooth. Cup of tea is nicer but cannot tell much difference in coffee.

And what kind of water softener did you get that results are so good?:) Also hello and how are you today? :D

I'm fine thanks.

We went for a Harvey's Water Softener since a guy knocked on the door selling them. It's prob not the cheapest option but it is very good, fully automatic, needs no electricity, salt blocks are cheap and last three weeks. Main problem is forgetting to replace the blocks.

Had it about a year and thoroughly recommend a water softener: we have no limescale problems now, before it was terrible: chunks of limescale in tea, scale all round the bathroom etc. This is very much a hard water area, I wouldn't want to be without a water softener now.

Hello there,

I live in Ashford, Kent in a very hard water area. Last year a representative knocked on the door regarding a Harvey's water softener but at the time I felt it was not necessary. I am now in a position that the limescale has become so bad that it is affecting my hot water but I seem to have misplaced the reps. address and telephone number. I know his name, David Gordon, but cannot trace him and need to find him urgently.

Do you have any contact numbers I could perhaps get in touch with in the hope that the rep you used might know David Gordon? This is rather urgent because I have only luke warm water at the moment and the Gas Board serviceman has told me it is due to limescale and I need a softener.

Many thanks.

I can't remember his name and I can't find his details. I suggest you ring Harvey and they should point you at the local agent.

I bought a Scalewatcher. I;ve found them on the internet on this website scalewatcher.co.uk I guess it's similar case to buying something from a person who appeared at your home at the right time:)
